Street Pastors

Street Pastors support the day and night time economy in Sutton by caring, listening and helping those in need on a Friday and Saturday afternoon and night time.

They take on many tasks each night from listening to people’s life stories, helping and caring for those who are in vulnerable states, whilst building relationships with the staff of the pubs and clubs, and local police.
Those who are trained also visit the station and support any people who are in vulnerable positions on the platforms.

Partnerships

Street Pastors is an international community of Christians set up by Ascension Trust. Aiming to care, listen and help anyone in need. Street Pastors have worked in Central Sutton since 2005, building partnerships with the Local Police, Local businesses and London Transport Staff, as a means to enabling a peaceful experience when out and about in Sutton at the Weekends.

We work with Safer Sutton Partnership in the Night Time Economy. Safer Sutton Partnership is a unique partnership between the council and the police and works closely with ourselves, licencing, pubs and clubs.
